Ludovic

For some months we are working very hard on the production "Ludovic"
in the Pedri Studios. "Ludovic" is an animation series made in the stop motion technique. Together with the German producer Scopas and the Canadian producer Cite-Amerique we are making 26 episodes of 11 minutes.
As co producer Pedri is responsible for the building of all puppets an sets for this series. All together we make 30 puppets, 13 complete sets and about 350 props. In the Netherlands "Ludovic" will be broadcasted by KRO television about 2009.

The series, meant for children in the age from 2 to 7 years old, tells the story of a young teddy bear named Ludovic and his parents Louie and Laurie, his niece Violet, his friend George and his pet duckling Walla.

"Ludovic" is the brainchild of the in Canada living Dutchman Co Hoedeman. Already in 1998 he started writing stories about the likable little teddy bear. Till 2002 Co Hoedeman made 4 short films about this character: The Snow Gift (1998), A Crocodile in my Garden (2000), Visiting Grandpa (2001) and Magic in the Air (2002).
In this new series Co Hoedeman is involved as director and art-director.
